This Refund Policy provides our policies and procedures for refund and cancellations related to your deck account. Users can access the deck application (the “application”) through our website http://www.deck.in, applications on devices, through APIs, and through third parties. A “Device” is any computer used to access the deck application, including without limitation a desktop, laptop, mobile phone, tablet, or other consumer electronic device.
deck offers a free plan for all new accounts – this free plan could have limits either in the number of documents that you can create or on features or in terms of a time duration. We recommend that you start off with this free account and upgrade to a paid account only after you are satisfied with the value of our solution..
Once you purchase a paid plan, you will be billed on an annual basis or for a single perpetual license. There are no refunds available for these paid plans. You are free to cancel your account at any point of time and once you cancel you won't be charged again, but you are responsible for whatever charges have already been incurred for the current billing period. For example, if you have purchased an annual plan and cancel your account at any point of time within that year, you won’t be charged again at the end of the period but there will be no refunds offered for the time remaining in the current billing period. In order to treat everyone equally, no exceptions will be made.
If you have purchased a mobile version of deck for your tablet or smart phone through an app store, the refund and cancellation policy for such purchases are governed by the app store and not by deck and any such cancellation request needs to be routed to the app store directly.
You can cancel your account at any time by sending an email to [email protected] from the registered email Id. Alternatively, if you so choose you can simply not pay for the subsequent billing period when it is due and your account will automatically be disabled at the end of the original billing period. We will endeavor to keep you informed of all upcoming billing events but the responsibility of ensuring that your payments are made in time rests with you.
This policy is effective October 1st, 2013.
